Excellent Serviced Apartments in Pune

Pune, proudly ranked as a Gamma Global city and the largest city of the scenic Western Ghats, offers a charmingly cosmopolitan potpourri of cultures, professional propensities and academia, co-existing homogenously against a backdrop of impressive historical legacy!

Thus, with a natural influx of visitors here, in recent years there's an increased preference for staying in service apartments, especially for frequent travelers and for prolonged stays!   Service apartments in Pune provide a home away from home, and essential maid service conveniences and include the comforts of TV’s, DVD and CD players, WiFi and even washing machines, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.  The luxury of having a fridge, microwave, or oven and local access to many markets and shops, allows for economical self- catering, greater flexibility and happy living!

Pune sightseeing places should aptly commence with a visit to the Maratha stronghold - Shanir Wada - the stately mansion originally built as the residence of the Peshwas by Bajirao I in the years 1730-1732!   The walls in the palace were painted with scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.  A sixteen petal lotus-shaped fountain stands reminiscent of the exquisite work of those times. The historical structure which stands as an important chapter in the history of the Maratha empire, today displays fortification walls with five gateways and nine bastions that enclosed the entire palace. The principal gate is called Dilli Darwaja (Delhi Gate); the other gates are called Mastani or Alibahadur Darwaja, Khidki Darwaja, Ganesh Darwaja and Narayan Darwaja.

Situated just about 20kms southwest of Pune, the picturesque Khadakwasla Dam, originally built in 1873, is very popular among tourists, especially during the monsoons!   Just a few kilometres away from the dam lie the water reservoirs of Panshet and Varasgaon and the fort of Sinhagad, once ruled by the great Maratha emperor, Shivaji Maharaj.
Parvati Hill and Temple, situated at 2,100 ft ,is the highest point in Pune offering a magnificent panorama of its scenic beauty.  The temples on Parvati hill are the oldest heritage structures in Pune and reminiscent of the Peshwa dynasty, so worship here for a wonderful stay!
